My two daughters have attended Abacus since they were 9 months old, and I have always felt fully reassured that they are cared for in a loving and stimulating environment, where they take part in lots of exciting activities. All of the staff have a warm and caring nature, which I feel is incredibly important. We have been so happy with the care our daughters have received from Abacus.

We are extremely happy with the care our children have received by Rachael and the team at abacus day nursery. The staff provide brilliant activities that are engaging, educational, and fun, and the day trips are always thoughtfully planned and thoroughly enjoyed by our children. There is a strong focus on outdoor play and developing all motor skills, which has really supported our children’s growth and confidence.
We especially love the brilliant photo updates, which give us a lovely insight into their day and the experiences they are having. Communication between staff and parents is always excellent, we always feel well informed, supported, and listened to. Abacus day nursery is a nurturing, professional, and happy environment and we are so grateful the team have been part of our children’s growth. We could not recommend abacus highly enough. I orignially chose Abacus because of their sensory room and spacious outside areas and we quickly fell in love with the staff and manager. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and you can tell how much the staff care about the children and it shows with how much my son loves going. He especially enjoys going on trips to the local park and all the fun activities they do daily. I cant recommend Abacus highly enough, they're amazing!

We’ve had a really great experience with Abacus Day Nursery and would highly recommend it to friends and family. The staff are always friendly and approachable, and they’ve really taken the time to get to know my children as individuals. They understand and appreciate different personalities and are good at raising any concerns when needed, which gives real peace of mind.

The nursery feels safe and secure, with a strong focus on healthy food, good hygiene, and teaching children about healthy lifestyles. It’s a fantastic setting from infancy through to age 4, but my son has even been back occasionally more recently (now nearly 6) and has absolutely loved returning as an older, more responsible child who enjoys helping out.

Overall, it’s a warm, caring environment where children feel happy and supported. I would sa it’s competitively priced and compared to our other nursery experiences, having things like nappies/wipes and lunch included in the price helps reduce the chaotic logistical considerations in daily life.

As a first time parent, sending my child to nursery for the first time was very daunting. When I first spoke with Rachael she invited me and my child along to the nursery to have a tour of the premises and reassuringly answered all of my questions. I felt very comfortable in my decision to send my child to Abacus. It has now been almost a year since attending and I can confidently say my child loves being there, he is familiar with the staff and very comfortable with them. To think back to his first day when he went in crying and to look at him now where he runs up to the door to knock it to excitedly go in just makes me so happy. He runs in and doesn't even look back. I am really happy with all the support he has received and I recommend all other parents to highly consider Abacus as their chosen nursery.

Our little girl absolutely adores going to Abacus and seeing the staff. She is always happy to go in every day and is very cheerful. She is a ball of energy so we are always so surprised that the staff can keep up with her, as well as the other children. Having the smaller class sizes really helps knowing she is being well looked after.

At the time of starting at Abacus my son had a very real fear of music and was experiencing intense separation anxiety. I was originally attracted to Abacus because of their sensory room and the compassion and understanding shown by the manager, Rachael. We quickly fell in love with all the staff at Abacus and they have managed to develop such a trusting relationship between themselves, myself and my son that he even asks to go on the weekend. The staff have so much care and patience and have gone above and beyond to help my son with his additional needs. In the four months he has been attending, his speech has increased along with his confidence in himself, he has also made massive progress with tackling his fear of music- all thanks to the amazing staff there that have been helping him! My son especially loves the big outdoor spaces, the trips they go on to the local parks and all the fun activities they do daily. I honestly cannot recommend Abacus enough, they are amazing!

We have been using Abacus in 2010, they are everything I could possibly want from a nursery, a home away from home. Top reasons for me, it is obvious how much fun the children have and how much the abacus family care for each of them. Loads of messy play and exciting trips out - the perfect place.

Amazing Nursery! I can't thank Abacus enough for how good they are with my little boy! I feel totally at ease leaving him at Abacus as it is a home away from home. He absolutely loves it and has come on so much since he started. Staff are so friendly and caring! Would recommend to anyone thinking about nursery for their little one.

I'm so pleased I found and chose Abacus for our baby!! We visited several others in Swansea during our search for the perfect place and we found it here. We were so anxious about sending him but it's been so easy and he absolutely loves it. All the staff we have met have been so kind and friendly. They don't mind you calling to check up and communicate so well on daily activities etc

I can not put into words how fabulous this Nursery has been for my daughter. This has been both in terms of activities, child development and healthy eating - the nutritional meals are in line with ensuring the best start for your childs brain development. The staff genuinely care for all the children and engage in providing detailed reports, which eases parents in knowing their child is well looked after. To add to this, the staff are all very friendly and approachable and work with the parents to ensure consistency and continuity of care for your child. I could go on further, I really hope people read this look no further for a nursery for their child.
